Danish shawl project (from Sheep to shawl)

I am attempting my first sheep to shawl project. This is where you start with raw fiber and end with a completed knitted/crochet product.
The project I am undertaking is the traditional Danish Shawl. It was feature as an article in Spin Off magazine Spring 2008.

Front/back view (This is from the author's website http://www.lustauffarben.de/faerben-strickanleitungen-englisch.html)

I am using Alpaca/romney blend. The Alpaca color is called Cinnamon. I left the color natural. The Romney was died various colors.

I carded the two together so that it would appear that the brown shawl had hints of color throughout.

Here is the fiber in its carded state

Here it is on the bobbin

I will continue to update as I get further along.

The spinning looks wonderful! Just thought I'd let you know that I've been spindling on those spindles that I bought from you last year, and I love them! I've a couple of pictures on my blog of yarn that I've spun using the smaller two spindles. They have been one the best investments I've made in several years!
