Almost done with my swap cards... :)

There has been so much going on I haven't been able to get on the computer. I am in a swap for Cuttlebug cards and I am getting down to the wire for when they are due. I have two more cards to make.

I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just can't believe it. As I posted earlier, I spent saturday enjoying Destination Art. We went to six different stores learning new techniques, seeing lots of goodies that I wish I had and desperately wanted to purchase. Each store had a basket filled with yummy craft supplies worth $300.00. For every store you donate a can of food to, you receive an entry for the drawing. Well, on friday... DRUM ROLL... I recieved a call from J.R. Flamingo... the best little quilt/craft supply store there is. I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So guess what... I rushed right over to pick it up.

Finally Friday!!!!!

Wow it is finally friday and the weekend is here. Can you tell... it has been a long week. This Saturday is going to be fun. I am spending the day with my parents hopping from one craft or art store to another. It is called Destination Art. Several craft and art business get together and have something like a themed party. Each location has drawing, snacks, demonstrations and specials. Woo hoo!!! Then once we are traveled out... we are going to head back to my parents' house and hang out in my mom's craft cottage. It is the cutest little craft place you will ever see. A separate little building just for my mom to use for crafting.
Well, being that it was such a busy week, I only completed two cards. :(

I have been saving the best for last. This is a card that my 5 year old son made for a classmate at school.

My son did the inking, stamping and coloring of the image.

Here are my first cards using my new markers.

These markers are the best. As you can see, I am completely in love with them.

I am so excited. My Copic markers are finally here. I have never colored with markers before. But all the cards I have seen and really adored, all turned out to have been colored with Copic.
